Edukasi Pertolongan Pertama dan Medical Check Up Warga Rusunawa Rungkut Surabaya

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide first aid education in household emergencies to Rusunawa residents. Training involves various stages, such as preparation, socialization, theoretical and practical training, and emergency simulation. Through this comprehensive approach, residents are expected to improve their knowledge and skills in handling emergency situations, so that they are able to provide effective first aid. From the results of the pre and post tests, it can be seen that the knowledge of residents has increased by 18%, in addition to that 30% of residents suffer from hypertension. Evaluation and follow-up are carried out to ensure the sustainability of the benefits of this training. This education is expected to increase health awareness and solidarity among Rusunawa residents.
